Knit & Crochet In-Person
Looking for company and conversation while you enjoy spending time creating with yarn? Our social Knit & Crochet Group is fun and lively, and open to all levels. Work on your current projects or start something new, with Jessica’s assistance to learn a new technique or clarify your pattern instructions.
This is not a dedicated Beginner Class, however beginners can pick up a list of suggested materials at the Front Desk. You’ll need medium/worsted weight yarn and US 8 (5.0mm) bamboo knitting needles or a US H (5.0mm) / US I (5.5mm) crochet hook. No dark colored yarn when you are learning, please - light & bright colors are best!
This Winter session, we will meet on Monday's from 12:30 pm - 2:30pm.
Program dates: September 8, 15, 22, 29, October 6 and 27, November 3, 10, 17, 24, December 1, 8, 15 (13 sessions)
Library Fee: $26.00
(check or money payable to Island Trees Public Library.
Residents may sign up three weeks before the start of the program.
Non-residents may sign up one week before the start of the program, provided there is space.
